Wine writers visit Misha’s Vineyard
We were visited by four esteemed wine critics in February this year as part of the inaugural tour for the New Zealand Fine Wine Producers (NZFWP). The wine critics were Jancis Robinson MW, Andrea Pritzker MW, Nick Ryan and New Zealand’s own Cameron Douglas MS. We started with a tour of Misha’s Vineyard and then had selected wines for two tasting flights back at the Misha’s Vineyard Tasting Room – one of Pinot Noirs and one to show the ageability of our aromatic white wines.
The New Zealand Fine Wine Producers group are a collection of just over 20 fine wine producers in New Zealand across all the key winegrowing regions. It was a two-week tour across Aotearoa will will have created some great lasting memories of our amazing landscapes, our delicious food and produce, our special kiwi-style hospitality and most importantly, our fine wines.
Jancis Robinson MW has now published several articles about the tour including the piece attached with the reviews for the range of Misha’s Vineyard wines she tasted whilst here.
