2008 Vintage
Flaunting aromas of pear, citrus, mango and just a hint of Manuka honey, this medium bodied wine has an off-dry finish balanced by a refreshing acidity. The crisp fruit flavours are balanced by both the hint of sweetness and also the typically gentle creamy palate which makes Pinot Gris such an approachable variety. The natural ferment component
also gives an extra degree of complexity to this wine.
2009 Vintage
This off-dry wine has an expressive nose of pink grapefruit mixed with pineapple and pear, notes of quince paste and a hint of spice. The rich, full and almost endless palate is gentle on entry with a refreshing chalky acidity. A portion of natural ferment in older oak has also added to the palate complexity.
2010 Vintage
With aromas of white pear and hazelnut along with a touch of clover honey, this off-dry wine has a beautifully fine and silky palate with a refreshing ripe persimmon edge to it. A portion of natural ferment in older oak has also added to the palate complexity.
2011 Vintage
With an enticing and complex nose of white pear, hazelnut and hints of cinnamon, this off- dry Pinot Gris is both rich and full with a beautifully fine and silky palate. A gentle creaminess typical of Pinot Gris allows the wine to finish effortlessly.
2012 Vintage
Lifted and enticing aromas of pear, rose petal, honeysuckle and white nectarine, this off-dry Pinot Gris is rich and fine with focussed citrus acidity balancing the fruit sweetness and then lingers with a creamy gentle mid-palate and liquorice-spice complexity.
2013 Vintage
The nose opens with classic pear and red apple aromas along with hints of liquorice followed by some more complex baked fruit and almond croissant notes. A beautiful gentle gliding palate with typical varietal mid palate softness which finishes with a touch of sweet honeysuckle.
2014 Vintage
Aromas of warm pear and apple along with hints of walnut, the palate of this off-dry Pinot Gris is fine and gentle, lingering effortlessly with touches of ginger, almond and honeysuckle sweetness.
2015 Vintage
With aromas of gingerbread, baked apple and pear, the multi-layered silken palate of this off-dry style flows gently with a floral jasmine perfume underpinned by a dry lemon zest freshness.
2016 Vintage
With fragrant aromas of baked pear, cinnamon and brown sugar, this off-dry style has a gentle creamy mid-palate with hints of walnut and honeysuckle on its lingering finish.
2017 Vintage
With expressive aromas of white florals, musk, red apples and walnuts, this dry style Pinot Gris has an elegant palate of baked quince with a hint of citrus freshness and a long gentle finish.
2018 Vintage
Classic Pinot Gris aromatics of white pear, apple blossom, orange zest and cinnamon, the gentle dry palate has a mineral backbone finishing with a note of honeysuckle.
2019 Vintage
Off-dry in style and showing classic varietal notes of pear, red apple, cinnamon and lifted sweet floral aromatics, the palate has a complex blend of jasmine, nectarine and ginger with notes of mint and lime.
2020 Vintage
Inviting aromas of white pear, honeysuckle and hazelnut nougat lead to a gentle dry palate of baked apple and nectarine balanced by a fresh mineral lime finish.
2021 Vintage
