Bob Campbell MW is one of the strongest campaigners for the New Zealand wine industry albeit he does it without political motivation and with the utmost diplomacy (for the most part anyway!) As part of that elite group with a Master of Wine qualification, Campbell has been sharing his knowledge since 1986 with an estimated 22,000 people having attended his wine diploma courses across New Zealand, Asia & Europe.
Misha Wilkinson talks to Campbell to get his views on the current state of the New Zealand wine industry and asks if we’re too reliant on just one wine variety, whether we should position our regions rather than our varieties as heros, what his thoughts are on China and its potential and finishes with his tips for New Zealand wineries.
