Negociants New Zealand Fine Wine Tour – Consumer Event

A fantastic opportunity to meet some top winemakers and to try some stunning wines at the Negociants annual wine tasting, featuring a selection of fine wines from New Zealand and Australia.
NEW ZEALAND WINES FROM: AUNTSFIELD, BLACK BARN, DRY RIVER, FROMM, GREYWACKE, MISHA’S VINEYARD, MT BEAUTIFUL, NAUTILUS, OPAWA, PALLISER ESTATE, PYRAMID VALLEY, RIPPON, SAINT CLAIR, SMITH & SHETH, TWO PADDOCKS
AUSTRALIAN WINES FROM: BROKENWOOD, CHAFFEY BROS, D’ARENBERG, JIM BARRY, LANGMEIL, VASSE FELIX, YALUMBA Antipodes Water will also be available.

All tastings are included, as well as light refreshments. Ticket holders will receive a tasting booklet and Riedel Ouverture Magnum wine glass in a
take-away gift carton. Entrance is restricted to 18 years+

Wine Dinner at The George Hotel in Christchurch

We’re planning an unforgettable evening showcasing the exquisite wines of Langmeil Winery and Misha’s Vineyard Wines. We love the rich red wines from Langmeil, one of the stars of the famed Barossa region in Adelaide, Australia. This is the second time we have partnered with Langmeil Winery and The George Hotel.

This exclusive event features a five-course gastronomic experience, with each course perfectly paired with exceptional wines. Adding to the enchantment of the evening, enjoy opera entertainment between courses, making the night a feast for both the palate and the soul.

Dazzling Divas & Divine Dining, Otahuna Lodge Tai Tapu, Christchurch

Join us for dinner on 21 September for a truly one-of-a-kind evening showcasing both the sensational wines of Misha’s Vineyard from Central Otago and the talents of two of Canterbury’s most loved operatic personalities.

Named by British Decanter Magazine as one of New Zealand’s Top 20 Wine Producers, Misha’s Vineyard has earned a sterling reputation for their world-class Pinot Noir and aromatic white varietals. Delightful owners, Andy and Misha Wilkinson, will personally be on-hand to explain the philosophy behind their winemaking and tell the story of their spectacular vineyard.

Meanwhile, Leisa Falconer (Mezzo-Soprano) and Donna Alley (Soprano) will fill the rooms of Otahuna with song. Count on a memorable playlist including jazz standards from the Great American Songbook alongside solos by Puccini, Bizet & Saint-Saëns and duets from Delibes Lakme and Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffmann.

Included in the tariff of $295 per person are:

• 6:00PM arrival with wine and canapés served in the Lodge’s Drawing Room and Entry Hall
• An exquisite 4-course degustation dinner, designed by Executive Chef Jimmy McIntyre and served in the Otahuna Ballroom at shared tables
• A curated selection including reserve vintages of Misha’s Vineyard wines to compliment each course
• “Otahuna Encore Pack.” Attractive pricing on a 6-pack of wines enjoyed during the evening, so that guests can savour an “encore performance” at home!”

Best of all, dinner guests who would like to spend the night of 21 September at the Lodge will enjoy the preferential rate of $1400.00 including breakfast the following morning ($1990.00 total cost for two guests including dinner and accommodation).
