We are invited to submit samples to wine critic James Suckling each year and we have just received the results of the latest wines he and his team have reviewed. This year Associate Editor Ryan Montgomery was in New Zealand with James where they tasted wines from both the North and South islands, including some of the latest releases from Central Otago.
We were delighted to see The High Note Pinot Noir 2022 in the top rated Pinot Noirs from New Zealand with a score of 95 points, with our 2019 reserve at 94 points. In fact every wine was rated 92 or more points with our aromatics, especially Riesling and Gewurztraminer amongst the top examples from New Zealand.
