Rebecca Gibb MW (who writes for global/US magazine Vinous) has completed her annual New Zealand white wine review.
She tasted 325 wines for her March 2025 report “New Zealand Whites: Never Gonna Give You Up”. (Her report on New Zealand red wines will follow later this year).
Across our range of aromatic white wines we were delighted with the reviews and score we received. Both the 2022 and 2023 vintages of our Limelight Riesling were reviewed and both achieved 93/100 which was the 2nd highest score across all Rieslings tasted (with just a Noble style Riesling scoring higher). Our dry style Lyric Riesling 2023 received 91/100 which is also considered “Outstanding” in the Vinous Rating Scale. Both of our Gewürztraminers – The Cadenza 2024 Late Harvest and The Gallery 2023 received the top scores for this variety of 91/100. Finally our 2023 Pinot Gris received the 2nd highest score for this variety at 91/100.
