Visit to Misha’s Vineyard by James Suckling

Nov 2022

John Dibble & James Suckling on Misha’s Vineyard

We were honoured to host internationally acclaimed wine critic and journalist James Suckling in November 2022. James, who’s currently based in Hong Kong, travelled to New Zealand to do some final winery visits before completing the Top 100 Wines of New Zealand 2022 list. James tasted through our entire range of wines and was so excited by what he tasted, he was keen to visit our vineyard estate in Bendigo to understand our unique site and how the schist soils are such a feature of the wines.

We’re delighted to announce that two of our wines were selected for this prestigious Top 100 Wines of New Zealand 2022 list:
Misha’s Vineyard Verismo Pinot Noir 2016
Misha’s Vineyard The Starlet Sauvignon Blanc 2022

We are also delighted that every wine across our range scored 91 or more points! It’s a great testament to the spectacular single vineyard site we have for making not just great Pinot Noir, but a range of aromatic white varieties. The list of Misha’s Vineyard Wines reviewed can be seen here.
