5 stars, 95 points. Delicately perfumed wine with pure fresh pear and subtle clove flavours. The texture is ethereal and length of flavour impressive. Beautifully balanced with a dry-ish finish – the wine certainly shows no overt sweetness.
2008 Misha’s Vineyard, The Gallery, Gewürztraminer, Central Otago – 92 points. Concentrated gewurzt with exotic fruit and floral flavours that build in the mouth. The wine has lovely purity and weight with classic rose petal and anise characters that linger long after the wine has been swallowed.
