“Peter’s Picks” Peter Saunders, F&B, Dec 2008

Misha’s Dress Circle Pinot Gris 2008. Fresh, nicely delicate, yet distinctive pinot gris; quite subtle and tasty with the crisp fruit statement that shows in the first Misha whites. Very pleasant, easy and in no hurry.

Misha’s The Gallery Gewurztraminer 2008. Gold medal already, first vintage! Another subtle one, fresh, tasting clean and the spices very much there yet not overpowering. A wine with some style best with fish and light courses at this stage, but wonderful in that role.

Misha’s Limelight Riesling 2008. Lightly sweet (29 g/p/l) with a fresh, clean and quite delicate fruit expression. Whilst some older barrels were used to broaden the style, no oak is testable. An elegant, true-to-Misha-style opening up well”
